  • Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Srinagar, Secures 3rd Position at Sustainability Exhibition Held at SKICC. The CSE team 'Ayman, Rinav, Hadi, Lakshay, and Kritiya', from NIT Srinagar presented the project titled “Aerial Imagery and ML Algorithms to Automatically Detect and Map Litter Floating on Lake Surfaces in Real Time.” contributing to environmental monitoring and conservation efforts.

  • The Department of Computer Science & Engineering has purchased a High Performance Computing Cluster, a powerful system designed to handle complex, resource-intensive computational tasks by combining multiple computers (nodes) into a unified network, to perform large-scale computations for an amount of 2 crores approx.

  • Ravikant Gupta, final year B.Tech Student from Department of Computer Science and Engineering Achieves Remarkable Success in GATE 2024: Secures AIR 112 in Computer Science & Information Technology(CS) alongside AIR 235 in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS)

  • Dr. Sahil Shola, Prof. Roohie Naaz Mir and Dr. Mohammad Ahsan Chishti have been granted a patent on " Taming Technology: A Fuzzy Logic Based Method for Implementing Ethics Indian" Application Number: 201711008760 on 16-06/2023.
