Computational Laboratory 

The Department has a full-fledged computational laboratory to meet the requirements of the B.Tech. students, research scholars and the faculty members. Presently there are 20 systems in the Computation lab with advanced configuration. The students gain exposure in handling problems through mathematical software like MATLAB, Mathematica etc.

  • Google's PageRank Algorithm

    Dr. S. Krishnan, Professor Department of Mathematics, IIT Bombay, Mumbai will be delivering a talk on Google's PageRank Algorithm on 12-05-2023 at 2:00 PM in the seminare hall of the Department of Mathematics. All Faculty members, Research scholars and students are requested to attend the talk.

    Dr. Ambat Vijayakumar, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, Kerala will be delivering a talk on Real World Networks on 04-05-2023 at 2:30 PM in the seminar hall of the Department of Mathematics.     Dr. Eshita Mazumdar, Assistant Professor Department of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Ahmadabad University, Ahmadabad will be delivering a talk on Zero sum problems for finite groups on 11-05-2023 at 2:30 PM in the seminar hall of the Department of Mathematics.
