Tribology society of India invites academic institutions to organize a conference once in every 2 years with the sole objective of providing a platform to academicians, researchers and practicing engineers to discuss the current trends in tribology practices.

In this year, TRIBOINDIA 2018- An International Conference was organized at VJTI Mumbai on 13–15 December 2018 with the theme on Tribology for Reliability and Life.

In this conference, Best paper award won by Ms Summera Banday, a research scholar in National Institute of Technology, Srinagar and working her research work under supervision of Dr. M. F. Wani. The tile of paper was “Nanoscratch Property of Self-lubricating Ti/MoS2 Nanocoating at Nano-scale Level”.

From National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, Dr. Shuhaib Mushtaq (Assistant Professor), Mr Jagtar Singh (Research Scholar), Mr M Jebran Khan (Research Scholar) and Mr M Junaid Mir (Research Scholar) were also presented their research paper in TRIBOINDIA 2018.
