The office of Dean Research and Consultancy serves as a nodal centre to facilitate various activities pertaining to research and consultancy. In order to promote research activities, the faculty members of the Institute are encouraged to undertake various R & D projects funded by different agencies like; SERB-DST, CSIR, UGC, etc. Testing and consultancy projects are important tools to achieve the objectives of technical education. The consultancy projects/works are undertaken by the faculty members of the Institute to such extent which will not interfere with the discharge of their duties. The execution of all such activities are governed by a set of rules and regulations. R & C wing also liaises and facilitates MoU between the Institute and various academic and research organizations and industries.
