ENERGY STORAGE AND CONVERSION

Nowadays, the industrial development and the ecosystem on earth are plagued by the energy crisis and greenhouse effect, respectively, due to the growing depletion of fossil fuel and the huge environmental side-effect of its utilization. Therefore, the interest in sustainable and clean energy sources such as solar energy, wind and marine energy is growing.To address the key issue of the intermittency , our group is performing the material designing for different energy applictions ( efficient energy storage and/or conversion systems) such as electrical capacitors , batteries and conversion of    electricity into high energy-density chemicals (e.g., hydrogen) .
